After father sold the 1941 Buick Super 51 sedan

By Wayne Burch: “When I was about five years old my parents bought a used 1941 Buick 2 door fast back. At the time it meant as much to our family as if it had been a new car. I loved that old Buick and helped wash and polish it every chance I got. A few years later my Dad sold it for $200. Boy, was I a sad kid.
Ever since I wanted to find a '41 Buick of my own and in 2011 I found this one in Minnesota.  A two-owner car in original condition, a driver with only 23K on the clock. Wow! When it rolled off the truck at my home in California I think I was as excited as I was that day 61 years ago when I saw my parents Buick for the first time. I'll be giving this Buick to my grandson when I am through having fun with it.”

It would run circles around my 1941 Cadillac 60 Special Fleetwood, though was more tinny and not as confortable to drive.
