Nowadays it's unthinkable to drive anything like this without special permits. But there have been times that you could drive a 1944 Ford V8 Brengun Carrier through the streets of Holland without anyone asking. For instance when this photo was made ('73), when authorities looked at it as a harmless collectors vehicle that remembered of another era. And of course there was that other era when the Allied Forces fought there way up from the coasts of Normandy. In Holland we always think back of that period in the early days of May. It was a period which was decisive for today's Europe and the freedom we enjoy here. That's something to remember with great gratitude. Year after year.
