We are still lucky enough to have NOS (New old stock) original Payen gasket sets for models PA/PB/TA.
We also carry the highest quality Copper/composite UK made MMM head gaskets.
Solid copper gaskets are fine for building competitive & race quality engines; but for the average enthusiast, building a road going engine, the original copper composite head gasket as supplied by the factory is the safest way to go. The composite gasket got a bad name for a while with poor quality units arriving from New Zealand and stamped 'Made in NZ'. Although never sold by us, they are history now, and the UK-made ones we have been selling for over 45 years are still available and the best for those building standard road going engines. Composite gaskets do cost more owing to their construction with two copper sheets, the filling. and the expensive individual eyelets (especially the L/K series).
(With the decoke/head set, you get all the gaskets needed to overhaul the top end of the engine)
