Before we started this, they told us that old car guys don't use the internet. They also told the market is too small. After more than 12 million visitors. And after slightly more than 93.000.000 milion pageviews we know different. We may have created this machine, but you got it running!

So today we like to say:  Thank You !

Thank you for stopping by so often. Thank you for showing genuine interest. Thank you for sending your stories. For sending your barnfinds.  Your mysteries. And your pre-war family photos.  Thank you for sharing your memories and knowledge.  Thank you for your critic. Thank you for your advise. Thank you for your indispensable help. Thank you for giving your time. And thank you for your business!

Tomorrow we'll crankstart a new decennium with a tour starting from the center of Amsterdam. Maybe not tomorrow, but we're sure our roads will cross in a near future. If not on the road, than on the dusty plains of the world wild web.

Has it been 10 years? I think that this must have been the first website I over bookmarked... it goes back to my first using the internet. Its a superb job and has been since the beginning. There are so few of us pre-war aficionados (in comparison to the post-war and hot rod crowd) that we're swamped everywhere else. To my mind, you've replaced HMN and all other web and print venues. Great Job... and please keep it up.

I am very pleased to tell you that Joris, his lovely wife Charlotte, their kids and many friends & fans are enjoying a wonderful birthday, here in Amsterdam. It's a great day with excelent weather for their tour with prewar cars following the route of the one-and-only Dutch Amilcar roadtest.

A very Happy Birthday to the site and a big thank-you to all the team. I often wonder where you find the time to research and have a new interesting page every day. I am not sure you should be thanking us. As someone who has enjoyed the site for many years, I should be thanking you. I particularly enjoyed the challenge of getting your T-shirt and becoming a jury member. But I still go in at least once or twice a week for a good look, and the occasional stab at a problem. I am writing from New Zealand, the first country in the world to start each new day. So it seems entirely appropriate to be the first to welcome your next decade of activity and to wish you all the best.
