(re-issue)It's not completely clear what's happening in this pic. But the man at the rear of the car is into catering with a barrel beer, water, cider or whatever. Not so, but it looks almost as if the man at the right is trading his horses for the car (he's returning the drinkpan). Inspired by this North-Dakota photo James Drumm wrote us: 'That pic reminds me of a story from a buddy. I see hills and trees through the mist, by the way, so it could be anywhere. My buddy was from Oklahoma and taught me a thing or two about 'word'! He once said 'You offered; I accepted. The deal is made and the car is yours, whats this crap about paper? If you need it on paper you are not dealing with me, cause I don't need it'! (something about a mans word is his bond: no other needed; I took the lesson to heart.)' Yes times have changed. I rented a compact Caddy at Budget in the US and had a look at the Owners Manual. It had 600 pages, from which 60 were really manual and the other 540 C.Y.A. legal crap.
