A front and rear axle for De Dion Bouton. c.1911. All from the same car and rescued a number of years ago. The rear axle diff casing has been stripped for inspection and the crown wheel and pinion is in good condition, but one half shaft is broken and maybe why the car was taken off the road. The hubs are not good, but the brake drums and castings are all usable again. The front axle is is probable ok, but one stub axle is broken. Both hubs have the original De Dion brass caps. The remains of the brake cross shaft and the gear, brake lever etc and the original pedal assembly. All useful parts if you are building an Edwardian car. Not for the faint hearted and you'll need a 'hot spanner' to dismantle it all. Useful for patterns. Buyer to collect from Essex, UK. Sold as one lot.
