1925 Oldsmobile 30D : A very rare chance!

This Oldsmobile 30D is extremely rare worldwide, likely even unique in Europe. It has been treasured by a single family since 1969! Now we are looking for a new owner who will continue history with the same passion.

Oldsmobile is an historic American car manufacturer. One may also know the Oldsmobile Model 30 series as “Oldsmobile Six” due to the six-cylinder in-line engine. The car offered here has a 169 cubic inch (2,8 Litre) displacement. Its gearbox has three forward and one reverse gear and requires double-clutching. For a car that is over one hundred years old it still offers good performance as it has been driven recently on the highway. But of course, it is best enjoyed touring picturesque country roads.

The car’s history starts with its import into Norway (Oslo), where it is delivered to its first owner. In 1966 the car is imported and shipped to Holland by a family intending to restore it. They started but found it too complex, hence the sold the car around 1968/69 to the family currently owning it. After completing the full restoration, the car finally hit the road again in 1975. It has been on the road and maintained since, including a large engine renovation, recent new wiring and more. Technical documentation available.
