Last year i purchased this 1907 Daimler TL-30 from a deceased estate in Victoria, Australia. It is remarkably complete minus coachwork. I was wondering if anyone out there has the delivery records for Daimler-Coventry cars of that period so that I may find out more of the its history. It is chassis number 3948 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Dean Montgomery

Of course you knew all that information about the car Dean!
No, I have no idea when or where this car came from.
Got a bit carried away.
That engine might run with a bit of pursuasion.
Cheers

Hello I have acquired this car from Dean in a trade and am interested in the catalogue you have available can you email me if it is still available please. [email protected] Thanks Toby
I have a very similar Daimler slightly worse for wear. I'm told that it is a 1904/1905. It has a very similar chassis, is chain driven. There are photograph of it in the latest book on Daimler's by Brian Smith. I have done very little work since acquiring this Daimler. I would like to upload some photos, where can I do that?
And get in touch with Mr. Dean Montgomery.
What a magnificent thing.

It looks very similar to the the white 45hp phaeton depicted. No doubt the driver and passenger are sitting on the fuel tank. The scuttle is the same, as are the front dunb irons. The only difference I can see is the diameter of the rear wheel centre hubs, which are slighter larger on yours.
Your chassic certainly has a large capaciy engine with poppet valves.
The plate suggests 30 hp with a 91/2 inch stroke.... 7,242 cc.
