A Zedel dating mystery. (upd. 1913 16HP Model H)

Fabrizio Cartocci is seeking help for the correct identification of this Zedel from his family. So far he has not been able to find the information he needs.  Not the exact year. Not even the model is clear. "On the internet I can not find this
Model. There are no documents." Yet Fabrizio supposes the car dates from before 1920. Well let's not jump to conclusions and take a look at the ID plate which states it is a Model H with number 1368, produced in Pontarlier. There must be a few experts around who can work with that. The four cylinder is of fairly straightforward design giving the impression we are looking at a 1916-1920 car. The radiator shape is not exactly what we see on oither Zedels. Who can help?
The car is owned by Fabrizio's father, founder of Cartocci Cinematography & Television

I recovered the radiator of this same model. Very difficult to identify because I had no information.
It has a very pretty shape, very rare on the Zedel model. I found it in France

A contact was taken with Mr CARTOCI; His car has a rare 1912 H chassis,probably with a renewed body (and carburettor!), manufactured either in 1914 or in 1919
Now this could be confirmed with other details seen on the magneto(N° for instance) or in other places

According to, I think, the Catalogue des catalogues the Zedel model H was only offered in 1913. It had a 4 cylinder 16 cv engine, bore x stroke 90 x 140 mm. The chassis numbers of this model were 1360 to 1401 which fits with the number of this particular car. The radiator on this car does not have the shape we know of other pre-1914 Zedels but it may have been a one-off innovation attempt by the company for this new model. I think the electric lights on this car are a little bit younger than the car itself.

[quote name="Siegfried Otto Hepp"]At the pic with the Engine the Magneto is showing, it seems that is the original one.
It is possible to find also the Number of the Magneto, the Year when it is build.

Dear Mr CARTOCI,
As you know ,there is a ""CLUB ZEDEL",may be liable to help you;Please write to Eric LEPICARD ,154 Rue DESCROIZILLES,76 000 ROUEN FRANCE;Just mention the engine bore (if you can measure it) or ,at least the distance (in centimetres) between either the side wheels centers (empattement),or between the two front wheels (taken from the middle of the front tyres (voie)
Then I 'll try to help;
Also,please send various parts N°( the number of the part,casted on it,and the crresponding N° of that part,prefarably observed on the chassis itself) ;The magneto N° will give the magneto date,but not obviously the car date of manufacture;Obviously this car identification N° on the plate does NOT correspond with the date when the body was made; Same with the front shell!
Regards,
Eric LEPICARD (president of the CLUB ZEDEL
PS please also give me the various logos you see on the car (shell logo hub logos and so on)

editor: Dear Mr. Lepicard. Please give us the webpage of your club. JB
