A holiday suggestion

If you’re thinking of a holiday in France, we do have a suggestion… why don’t you visit the area around Tours and Poitiers taking in two popular events. First there is the Sport et Collection weekend in the Vienne region of France. Held in the first week of June, this event is centred around the racing circuit of Le Vigeant, south of Poitiers. The track is suitable for all kinds of cars and there is plenty space for camping. The weekend after that will feature the Grand Prix de Tours, consisting of a rally in the Loire Valley, an excellent soiree dinner, and the Grand Prix demonstration on the streets of Tours. During the days between these two events you are encouraged to stay in the area. On the Wednesday there is a get-together in the Richelieu area with a gymkhana and barbecue, and maybe a Concours d’Etat.
