The lady in the photograph looks lovely with her hat and smiles like nothing has happened. But if you look at the photo very carefully can you spot the problem?
This week’s Friday Lady was sent in by Hugh. He noticed something has gone wrong… Hugh wrote: “judging by the unhappy faces of the crew of this car, the lady driver has just damaged the hood while getting it out of the motor house. You can see half of the hood hanging down behind the car.”
Did you also notice it? This is, of course, one of the scenarios of things that could have happened. It might well be something else. Unfortunately, we can only guess and never know exactly what happened…
Hugh also wrote us that he thinks the photograph is taken in the tropics, perhaps in the Dutch East Indies. Do you think he is correct? And why? He is also very interested to know more about the pre-war itself we see here. Please comment below and tell us everything you know about the car.
Do you also have a good photograph, story or anecdote for our Friday Lady column? Please send it to [email protected].
