A Lancia start of the season

Another happy new year from us, we hope you have some good (car)goals for this year. One of them might be, just as we have, to visit more quality shows and to see more stunning cars. Well, in a week the first chance arises: Interclassics Maastricht.

The Interclassics Maastricht was celebrating their 25th-anniversary last year and the show clearly has a reputation to be in the top of the European shows. This year's theme will be Lancia and we are very much looking forward to see the cars on show.

Looking at the list of Lancia cars on show, we quickly spotted the following Prewar cars:

1920 Kappa 35HP; an original Dutch Kappa, which had a top speed of 120 km/h!
1925 Lancia Lambda 5-series, this type shouldn't be missing from the podium.
1932 Lancia Artena Cabriolet Royal; the successor of the Lambda, same V4 but a monocoque chassis
1933 Lancia Augusta Berlina
1935 Lancia Belna Eclipse, the French version of the Augusta. This stunning one is designed by the French bodybuilder Poourtout, one of 2 still existing
1938 Lancia Astura Pininfarina, the top model in the line and a real treat for all of us!

The only car that is missing should be the famous Lancia Augusta 'MG Special' that we had on our Beaulieu stand! But well, you cannot have it all.

We are very much looking forward to the show and we hope you do so too. Our PreWarCar.com team will be present as well, at our usual spot in the Noordhall (stand number: N.746). See you there!

Tut-Tut! The Artena had a very nice box section chassis and it's V4 was quite different to that of the Lambda. It was the Augusta berlina which had the monocoque.
