A near PWC headquarter mystery

Hans Veenenbos sends this lovely familyphotos of the Snep family, taken almost round the corner of the PWC headquarters just outside Amsterdam. Two XL family tourers of unknown making, the first clearly from the pre WWI era. The second made just prior to 1920 and even larger. Probably also somewhat easier to ID with its V-shaped radiator.

The first car seems to be an Austro-Daimler ca. 1912 (from Radiator, bonnet and front springs)
The seconsd car is a Benz 16-50 around 1925

I vote for Graf und Stift. One of these bloody mysteries has to be a Graf und Stift at some point.

In my opinion both cars are Benz. The car with flat radiator is slightly older (around 1912-1913) than the one with the pointed one (around 1914-1915). The older car looks rather battered and misses the usual louvres on the bonnet, but it appears that it has been replaced by a new one: notice its shiny (bare metal?) appearance. The photograph is obviously much younger than the car: judging the clothes of the people in and around the cars, I would estimate the mid-twenties.

I'd say the first car is a 1912 22/50 Mercedes

and the second is a 1920 Benz see:http://www.svvs.org/genpics12/1920_Benz_E6_Touring_Car.jpg

My guess is the pre WW1 car is a shaft drive Benz, and the 20's car is the Mercedes.
