A quiet Sunday morning.

You probably know ,or should know, the book 'Into the Red' (click) (TentTenths.co.uk) by Nick Mason & Mark Hales. With the book comes a CD with the sound of all the cars from the book. The BRM V-16 is the only car to be heard all around Silverstone. It is never out of 'ear-sight' so to say. Parallelly, the only car to let hear its mighty thunder all the way up Prescott Hill is the locally wellknown 1929 aero engined Napier-Bentley Lion engine Special with 24 litres... W-12 (! what's new? ). Now we are not going to present you some Mpeg- or Waf-file, but the 'Blast of Wallpaper' (click). Additionally two large views of the beast, as small don't do justice to its proportions. The first one is showing the car when getting served his early morning tea by owner-driver C.A. Williams cup of tea (click). The other one a quiet profile pose (click). (photos by editor)
