A REO puzzle that suddenly became a lot more interesting

You may have seen the special, odd-looking REO / Dodge Brothers puzzle. To be honest, we did not know what to make of it.  We didn't even know if we liked the look of it.

The car had been in storage since the 1960s and very little information came with it. But new information arrived (including the car being shown at events) and even an old photo with our Friday Lady that shows it towing a fantastic little trailer. The car instantly became more interesting to us and we do like the looks now; or would it be the trailer... or the lady? Anyway, we wish you all a good weekend.

That is the old Woodside Store built 1854 in Woodside California at the end of King Mountain Rd. A perfect sports car road though the mountains. I spent may happy miles there.

To further the identification of the place, here are contemporary and period photos of the Woodside Store. Don't know where this might lead, and probably more interesting from an architectural point of view. Would be interesting to know what other 'cars' passed through.

Search 'Woodside Store' at: en. wikipedia.org This may also come up when searching: Woodside Store, CO (thinking it could be in Colorado). Actually it is in Woodside, California. Also known as the Tripp Store, at 3300 Tripp Road at Kings Mountain Road, Woodside, San Mateo County, CA. Now an 'historic' place it still exists. Sorry, no accounting for the car & trailer.
