Nice little car which was rebodied during WWII. Attributed to Langethal who partly "tuned" what was a pre-war Pininfarina Cabriolet. Only the doors and the nose are Langenthal. The screen-frame, the dash, the interior the whole rear part of the body and the hood are typical Pininfarina. Good running mecanics and rather sound condition but needin..

Special Body by Sindelfingen (Wings like on the „Spezial Roadster“, modified rear end), only two cars built to that specification. The car is featured in the well known book of Jan Melin „Mercedes Benz – The Supercharged 8-cylinder cars“ where a picture of this 500 K is shown on page 51.

Seller's Notes: The car is shown in Ray Roberts Standard work Bentley Specials & Special Bentleys (1990) on page 180. DLO 466 has been in Germany for the last 5 years and has proved to be a very reliable vehicle, while providing a lot of driving enjoyment.
