After 20 years it's about time somebody will take up the challenge: Frazer-Nash by Bertelli

Your eye may already have fallen on this extraordinay project: a '37 Frazer Nash BMW 320 sports saloon by Bertelli Bros, better known for Aston Martins of that era. It's time that we open our mind again for truly interesting saloons. And let's face it, in general a saloon is the best way of transport at 6 out of 7 days in the year. So if you love pre-war motoring not only for that scarce summer day,you should give this project more than a superficial glance. James Harris of Bristol Engineering claims this to be the only Bertelli bodied Frazer Nash - BMW. A specimen of an early stopped marketing effort to create 'the British bodied BMW'. So if you take the opportunity to get this forgotten saloon on the road again, you not only drive a comfortable Frazer Nash BMW marriage, but also a unique piece of pre-Bristol motoring history. And will have lots and lots to explain wherever you arrive. Some twenty years ago the car was found in France where it spent most of its life. It was acquired by TT Workshops Ltd. and remained in storage until TT was taken over by Bristol Engineering last year July. Greatest mishap is the missing engine and gearbox, yet on the other hand the interior of the car is remarkably intact. We think this is a project that deserves better than a next twenty years in the dark.(photos courtesy Bristol Engineering Ltd.)
