Alvis Drivers Club badge question

Dear PreWarCar,

I found an Alvis badge a few years ago and asked several Alvis people both in the Netherlands and England if they knew the club but unfortunately no one does. This is the Alvis Drivers Club (as opposed to the familiar Alvis Owner Club - Ed.). Hopefully there is someone among the PreWarCar visitors who knows about the existence of this club.
