Annie - a 1921 Ansaldo Tipo 4A

Ansaldo produced aircraft for the italian army during ww 1. the aircraft engine division was converted into car design and production after the war. this explains why the ansaldo cars and engines were more advanced than alfa romeo or lancia at the beginning of the twenties.
tazio nuvolari drove an ansaldo 4a corsa when he participated in his first car competition in 1921 (see picture below).
the ansaldo is my personal favourate among the roaring twenties cars. i am the lucky owner of a 1923 ansaldo 4cs and a 1925 ansaldo 6b model.
