Modern marketing at Beaulieu

Beaulieu has always surprises which nobody will take into account beforehand. This time it was the +25 C afternoon making you lazy, combined with a -1 C zero at night to get you going again. As always it is the cars, the parts and friends that give you an excuse to go. Yet it's the creativity and atmosphere that glues the thing together. It's almost as if Beaulieu is becoming a bit more playful every year. But maybe it is the fact that old fashioned marketing like used for instance by car manufacturer Chalmers has lost some power. Our brilliant sister magazine The Automobile presented the new age car journalist with Harrods' solar powered helmet. With tout-le-monde facebooking all day, faces (click) have gained thumb-up importance indeed. See the tradesman come-in cardboard, and in different size and disguise. No means is unused to get that inventory going. Coachbuilder Jansen was showing his versatility with an Austin Seven Ulster monoposto. Still the times of good old print advertising seem not behind us. Beaulieu we love you! See you in 2013, (probably not 14-15 September, but 7 & 8 !).
