Best of Show Hershey 2003

This racing car was commissioned by Ralph Hamlin, Franklin dealer in Los Angeles in the early teens. He raced the car on the 1911 roadrace from L.A. to Phoenix to finish as second. What a machine! Never restored. It was found in a store house soem fifty years ago in parts and reassembled by (please fill us in and since then kept in a museum). Only recently it was brought back to life and will turn ip at diverse events. We tip it for next years Pebble Beach 'best preserved'. Back to the car.
