Joseph P. McCormick came up with a charming follow-up on last weeks 'Fender Sitting'. He writes: "There is a hill billy version of a song entitled: "I got my education, out behind the barn". Maybe there is a version that goes:"I got my education out behind the Church". Anyway, the 1932 Auburn Boat Tail Speedster, the Year 1937 (according to the New York License plates), the location : New Salem, - Voorheesvillle, New York area. The damsels in distress -unknown. The owner of the car: Walter Wiedman. The white building on the right is the church. The long building directly in back of the car was used for parking the horses and carriages and later, automobiles, while people were in the church. Notice there is a car in one of the stalls. Also note..... (photos collection Joseph P. McCormick; Editors Note: don't gaze to long at these darlings or their driver will make an international traffic regulation gesture..... )
