Brimming with Beauty

We’re not sure if the beauty mentioned in this advert for the 1941 Packard One-Ten DeLuxe Sedan means the girl or the car. We suspect it’s the car as the text goes on to say: “and bursting with news.” For the model year 1941 there was a new semi-automatic clutch, called Electromatic and Packard now called their overdrive “Aero-drive”. New was also the two-tone paintwork but, more important, there were no running boards (although they could still be ordered as optional extra’s.) (collection W.F. Walling) (RB)
