Build your own Model J Duesy

As a rule we check the auction catalogues to see what comes on the market and if we see something nice we’ll tell you about it. We did so with RM’s catalogue for their Hershey Auction on October 7 and 8 and the list for sure contained a lot of fine motorcars. But to keep in the spirit of Hershey, we thought it more apt to draw your attention to this kit of parts that will enable you to build your own Model J Duesenberg. The dual cowl body appears to have a largely original wooden framework, plus a full set of skins in primer and ready for body and paintwork. There’s also a Model J engine, but without opening it, there is no way to determine its condition. Anyway, it will be quite a project, and we are anxious to see who will face up to the task.
