Crispy Sevens and pre-war bisquits.

Pictures came in of a rare occasion that we participated in a 'Seven Miles Run' as organised by the Dutch Pre War Austin Seven Club. The little Seven 'Ulster Replica' maybe is not the roomiest and most comfortable means of transport for long distance rallying. But it is truly Big Fun motoring to snore along small country roads. Nothing more is needed for ultimate speed touring fun. Since not so long we have a real 'A7 factory' in Holland. Jansen Coachbuilding started with one, which was received with so much enthusiasm that a series of seven 7's has been ordered! When you click the photo you land in an Austin landscape dominated by the big fat 'heavy' Clifton Tourer of Club President Rob Wagemaker. Insiders will unmask the 'Bentley' in the background as a post-war Austin Sheerline . Highlight of the event was the celebration of the 80th birthday of a maroon '25 Chummy , an occasion for which the owner's last tin of pre-war bisquits was opened. We can assure you, a rare treat !
