No need to visit France for a nice barnfind. David Coco just found a set of two mid thirties Pierce Arrow limousines: "In a shed off the main highway, down a secondary road, down a one lane road, down a gravel road, down a dirt road, to the end of the dirt road and an old homestead in the mountains of Virginia. This was the barnfind, in a shed since 1953. The gentleman that owned it is long gone, his widow died in April, bought it from family out of the estate. Showing here the 1936 Pierce Club sedan, 25th Pierce built that year according to serial number. Last run in the early 60’s. Never in any club roster, so it is a “new” find. I expected wheels to be locked up, but all brake drums turn freely." We don't expect the same goes for
the engine....(click). David is going to sell the 1934 sister car , check PreWarCar's own Barn (click). Or the Pierce Arrow page. (photos David Coco)
