Update II (thank you Wayne Yeats & Leif Holmberg: they both claim it must be a 1940 New Yorker, be it that the headlamp bezels are more like 1941.
Update by Jeff Hansen, webmaster of the Cadillac LaSalle Club: The last two lines of the theme song went:
'Gee, our old LaSalle ran great!
Those were the daaaaaaaaaaaaays!' So Edith's car was a LaSalle, the Chrysler above will stay a mystery? Earlier text:
The lovely lady with this late thirties or early forties Chrysler does remind us of a young Edith Bunker (www.AllInTheFamilySit.com). But I can't remember if they ever discussed the car they had, if they had one. Anyway I can't exactly identify the Chrysler. Any suggestions? Then a link that has nothing to do with the subject except that they have a nice Chrysler in their limo fleet (www.AntiqueLimos.com) (photo collection editor)
