Enjoy the open road (UPDATE: awaiting the new George Irat book)

Living in France and being a motoring enthusiast in the 1930’s must have been a real joy. Just think of all those wonderful cars you could encounter on the road in those days, Bugatti, Delage, Delahaye and so on. But there were also the smaller cars to enjoy, for instance a model like this roadster made by Georges Irat. The 6VC proved rather popular... to his standards, that is! He sold some 1500 of them of which this is the last one to leave the factory before the outbreak of WW II. Would you like to relive those pre-war days? Then visit the Circuit de Gueux near Reims in France where on September 11th Bonhams will auction this pretty little roadster during the 'Weekend de l'Excellence Automobile'. But since there is not enough interest in and/or confidence at the publisher's, it isn't. So if anybody can offer me a first edition please let me know.
