This Thursday March 1st one lucky person will run off with the Irish GP winning 1929 Alfa Romeo 1750 Super Sport. Who will be the one to get in with that selfconfident grin whispering to himself: "...gotcha !" The next challenge will be not only to own and caress the Italian beauty. But to drive it in style, to compete it and to preserve the patina that decades of racing has etched into all parts.
Now don't despair if you miss a seven digit budget at this point in life. But...as in all layers of society you can bluff your way even through the vintage car world. Don't brag with the next item, just leave it in unexpected places with your wife's maiden name on the inside of the cover....
