French car, Italian body. (Upd. Type 30)

Stefano Paracchi is gearing up for our next 'Proper Cars, True Ladies' calendar. He sends this most charming shot of a girl showing off a well preserved Bugatti Type 30 with body by Schieppati, from Milano. As an interesting extra is that the car's  upholstery is made  in lizzard leather... The car was bought new in Palermo and now is with the third owner from new; one and the same family since 1932 or 33.
Stefano added: "The picture is a little present for The PreWarCar anniversary, I hope you like it!  Maybe we meet in Modena to visit The Righini collection!"
Thank you very much Stefano! The only thing we still have to find out is, what kind of objects are to be found in Righini's  collection.

UPDATE by Stefano Paracchi: "I wrote an article about this Bugatti a long time ago in Ruote Classiche; the car is a Type 30. There is no doubt."

While many have focussed (understandably) on the lady and the museum, I would like to make an observation about the car. I doubt it is a Type 30 as the radiator puts me more in mind of T40 or perhaps 38 or 44

Been to the Righini-Collection this May, it was absolutely stunning!! Many many prewarcars, the most in good, untouched original condition. A real joy to look at!

We visited the Righini Collection on the Via Flaminia PreWar edition. A beautifull collection with very special cars. Ik still get goosebumps when I recall the beautifull Alfa 8C Monza. Or the two 6C 1750 Zagato's, the Bugatti, the Stratos... Perhaps Wico, the official Via Flaminia photographer, can send some pictures including a picture of mrs Righini?

Regards,
Maurice
