Mystery aero car. (update; DKW-Kaiser?)

Terry Boyce did send us this fine postcard scene, shot at unknown location. Yet as the postcard was made with Italian Ferrania paper Since 1923) it could well be the case it is in Italy. The aero car is located on a bridge or at least at a plane that is considerably higher than the street or quay in the background. It may help to ID the exact spot. Regarding the propellorised contraption, it is obvious that it is not meant to fly but to look like an aeroplane. The tail colors seem to be repeated on the wheels.  Any thoughts as to the purpose for which was it built? It appears to have a steering wheel, small lamps on the cowl, and there is a probable taillight visible at the rear. Also, a brake linkage(?) can be seen at the rear wheel. The attractive young woman - warmly dressed for the occasion - seems proud of her transportation...but what is it?

Hallo, I think its German. The body looks quite like tha Kaiser. It was made in the thirtys in Magdeburg and was powered with different DKW motorbike engines up to 600 cc and the rearwheel was driven. There was agood article about the Kaiser threwheelers last year in the swiiss classic.

Agree. It has a Böhmerlandish air about it. The size seems to fit, if the front axle is fitted ahead of the bike. Some tubes, a little welding skill plus the front axle of a velorex would be enough.

A thought. What if tehere is a motorcycle hidden inside? That would explain the brake on the stern wheel. But then the question will be - how is the steering arranged?

i reckon underneath it all is a Bohmerland sidecar outfit, the fuselage of the 'aircraft' looks just like a Bohmerland sidecar. Those wheels could also be Bohmerland - so maybe the photo was taken in Czechoslovakia ?

The propeller seems relatively small and unguarded. I suspect that it may have been driven by the front wheels.
