Global Parents Day

Today, on Global Parents Day, we are asked to show a little bit of appreciation to all parents throughout the world. And who are we to disregard this request? Although some children are born luckier than others, initially there is not a single kid without parents. With parents being the ones to pass over the essentials of life, be it love and understanding, safety and wellbeing, work and education, affection or even a passion for things of historical interest, such as motor vehicles, which could considered trivial by some of us.

You may wonder what became of the boys in the picture. They clearly showed their love for wheels to the photographer and it can’t have been too difficult to turn them into passionate motoring enthusiasts. Of course, the same goes for girls. John Mayer knew, singing so thoughtfully about the subject as in the lyrics below. Have a lovely Day of Parents.
