1933 Lagonda 16/80 reg: LJ8429
Please find attached a couple of pictures of our 1933 Lagonda 16/80 named 'Hector'
First registered in October 1933 in Bournemouth we have no history of the car prior to 1975 when it was purchased at auction by the previous owner.
It was originally a ST24 Saloon being rebodied in 1978.
The engine was rebuilt in 2010 and with the exception of a full flow oil system is standard.
The 6 cylinder Crossley engine is quite high revving producing 80BHP at 4,200RPM.
We have had a couple of nice family trips to France in 2009 & 2011 and 'Hector' is currently on a container ship somewhere in the Suez Canel on the way to India where we will fly out in October for a driving holiday around Rajasthan accompanied by my Father in Laws 1924 Lanchester 40hp.
If you or anybody has any previous history on our Lagonda it would be very welcome. Chris Hallett
I've been looking for this car for a while now, we used it for our wedding on 06/08/1994 and was hoping it was still out for hire as I would of loved to hire it for our 25th wedding Anniversary in August 2019 so lovely to of actually found it! If you contact me I could send photos of our wedding when we hired 'Hector'
Kind regards
Bev Watson
