Hershey at Home 2020: automobile abundance

You may know the saying ‘If the mountain won't come to Mohammed, then let's take Mohammed to the mountain". It kind of goes for the famous Hershey Fall Meet of this year, which – like so many shows and events – is cancelled. But there’s a solution called ‘Hershey at Home’, offering a large number of cars in the auction with bidding being made possible from the actual seat you are sitting on right now. You just need to move from it in order to collect it when you win!

With 120 lots on offer and the vast majority of them being PreWarCars this sale comes in the tradition of the original Hershey meet – it’s huge! Anything from sweet 1939 American Bantam to equally small 1924 Amilcar C4 or large 1936 Studebaker President of which ‘the previous owner informed him that this vehicle once belonged to Al Kapone’. We’re not sure whether that’s really supposed to be the gangster or the rapper though!

There is a gorgeous 1917 Roamer in a beautiful pale green and a massive 1931 Caddy Fleetwood in an perhaps even more smashing light green. And if you really like that hue, you might also want to see this 1915 Daniel Boone Pathfinder and this 1911 Brasier Runabout. Oh, it’s not just the greens we like! How about this 1928 Marmon pace car or this 1912 Benz with Australian racing history and ‘the best horn on a car ever!’ (pity we can’t hear it).
