Hi !

I am an Amilcar, surname Imogen. I was born in Paris in 1928 and was sold new to a Mr. John Lewis in London. After many, many years and a few owners more somebody picked me up and took me to Chicago in the US. This was a Mr. Irving Silverman. And now recently -less then 4 year ago- this youngster from Amsterdam (he's only 48) bought me from the son of Silverman and took me back to Europe. This guy - Joris - is running this inter...something called PreWarcar. I know nothing about webs except from spiders. His friends more than him are taking care for me, because I was quite ill and didn't function like I was meant to. I enjoy all this care , but I am giving Joris a little of a hard time. Let him prove he deserves a car like me, heh...heh...heh... (photo Hans Horwitz)

That must have been a very emotional reunion, I think. A very beautiful story, Joris

Hello ... Amilcar Imogen. You are named after me. For about 4 years, my Mother Rozanne Moizer raced this car at Silverstone in England. She had to stop racing in 1958 when pregnant with my brother, Andrew. In 1960/61 the car was sold and named after the sweet little baby daughter of Rozanne, Imogen...me! I am thrilled to see the car is still operational as was Mom (she is now 87) when I showed her a Youtube video of the car in action. I have pictures on Mom driving the car and the trophy cup (third place!!)she won and would love to share. Would also love to find out where the car is now as we will be travelling to Holland and France this fall. A recent contact would be appreciated.
