We met Stace Leichliter during last Hershey's Fall Meet at Bob Swanson's stall. And now he sends over his grandmother and grandaunt. The shot of the Hispano-Suiza (an Alphonso we think,... wow!!!... what a car) was made in 1914. Stace writes "....I believe this is in Beaulieu on Dordogne, my grandmother lived on a farm La Borderie. She is in the foreground and her name is Marion Gasquet-Jausserand and her sister in law Evelyn Bertin-Jausserand is at the wheel, it was her car. Evelyn at the time was very wealthy and could buy a car of this kind. The second photo (click the photo) shows the front of the car with Evelyn's husband Jean Jausserand, my great uncle in WW I uniform. If you would like to know, my father Edward Leichliter was a sergeant in the US Army during WWII and married my mother Violete Jauserand -Marion's daughter- in 1944 in Paris... "
