How to date a Bijou from Herz & Schröter?

Even a magnificent encyclopedia like Georgano's  can sometimes be wrong. For instance in the case of the Austrian automobile manufacturer Herz & Schröter. According to the encyclopedia they made a small car with a two-cylinder air-cooled engine and a sporting body in 1929. Yet we found a magazine dating from 1921, eight years earlier, in which this cycle-car was advertised. We do know that it was also sold to foreign markets as the Bijou or Byou, but have no further information about this smart little car. Can anyone enlighten us on the history of Herz & Schröter? And are there any cycle-cars of this make left? Tell us!

Herz & Schröter startet building a cycle car in fall 1921. it had a 3 PS four stroke engine, four forward and one reversw, detachable spoked wheels. It had a two seater body with leather upholstery and an "american" hood. production ended after one year. there are no infos, how much cars had been built and no one survives.
