Instantanés de l’étape intermédiaire : London–Brighton 2025
À la première lueur du jour, le ciel s’est ouvert et l’on craignait que la météo ne vienne gâcher la journée. Mais les nuages se sont vite dissipés lorsque les premières motos et voitures sont arrivées à l’étape du Hawth Theatre à Crawley.
Avec la lumière d’automne filtrant à travers les arbres, les voitures brillaient sous le soleil.

I doubt that, though I cannot refute the suggestion. The car has several Lacoste & Battmann features like early Barré's sometimes had, but the still existing veteran Barré specimens have different lever and handle configurations. I still have hope that the owner will react, or somebody who has actually made a photo from a different angle.

Laurens, thank you, that’s the car indeed. It was obviously in the run, but the entry list apparently has had some last minute modifications which have not been implemented in that list. However I have serious doubts about its identity, because it would be the most atypical Georges Richard I’ve ever seen. In the advert on your site in 2021 it also indicates ‘anonyme’, so the identity clearly is not that certain. I have another possibility, but it’s too premature to share it at this stage as it needs some more research.

Normally I’m not the man asking for an id, but in this very nice photo series there is one car which puzzles me: it concerns the little red car taken in side view halfway the series and which I can’t find in the participants list (see photo below). Could someone please enlighten me?
