Today’s Friday Lady made our hearts beat faster…! Not sure what she is doing… But she knows her way around San Francisco. The sky is the limit for this PreWarCar. And you know, a smile is worth a thousand words!

The car is a 1920 Studebaker. Most likely it is a Light Six which cost $1,485 ($19,217 today). There were four models available: Touring, Roadster, Coupe and Sedan. It had a 112 inch wheelbase and a 40 horsepower engine. I found another photo of the same lady and car at a different location. The model might be vaudevillian and actress Trixie Friganza.

Is it my imagination or is there a huge rock behind the back wheel?
I guess that was some sort of a publicity picture because a) I'm not sure that the Ford T handbrake was good enough and b) I'm not sure the transmission bands were strong enough for a start at that angle!
