Introducing www.PreWarParts.com

When trying to keep a vintage car on the road (or getting it there) the bottomline is always: where to find parts? Since starting PreWarCar many people asked us to do something with parts as well. Now most listings of parts tend to make the problem only worse. After talking to many people and asking advice from our readers, we present you our view. Basic idea is the filosophy that hard to find parts should be easy to find. This is how it works: every part in our database you can find through 3 labels: a.Category b.Part make and c.Car make. If you list one ad with a Lucas headlamp that came from an Alvis, the prospective buyer can find your single ad at three places. 1. Under Category: Headlamps 2. Under Partmake: Lucas 3. Under Carmake: Alvis. From this very moment you can go to PreWarParts.com, register yourself and start listing ads. Rates start at Euro 3 / US$ 3,50 / GBP 2,10. Have fun! Click this great photo from the collection of Hans Horwitz to enter PreWarParts.com. We would like to say THANK YOU! to Alexander van den Hurk, Hans van Ingen Schenau, Paul Battem, Joep Mathijssen and of course Charlotte! (cover of Highway Magazine, June 1924
