You are not alone on the road, particularly not at a sunny Easter weekend. (click photo to enjoy even more traffic) Not in our time, but also not in the depicted time. Showing is a sunrise service on Easter Sunday at Mt. Roubidoux, Riverside, California. Around 1920, we guess. According to the Friends of Mt. Rubidoux in 1918 only 300 people attended a service like this one, in 1926 20,000.... Completely beside the point but still lovely are these Riverside Orange crate labels (www.TheLabelman.com ; this postcard from collection Hans Horwitz)
