La Guérin back on the road!

Richard Rodier reports about a car that probably was built as a one-off around 1900 by Mr Guérin in Le Goulet, a village in Normandie . The voiturette was stored  incomplete in an attic during many years and just has been put back on its wheels. Richard is now doing investigations in the village to collect information. Yet it may not be unlikey that you - who live down the road just a bit more - may have some information about this wonderful little machine. Do you?

I Martin I agree with you :probably the car has never been finished but what I am sure is that the position of the engine decided by Mr Guérin was at this place : we found the car with the support board of the engine with 4 holes and 2 notches for the passage of the wheel in the supports, engine seems too high like that but it is Mr Guérin's décision!
wheels were missing ,fortunately Richards Bros exist
très cordialement Richard

Nice discovery Richard but it looks to me like it was never finished. The engine, which could be a bit later than the suggested date, is mounted way too high up and one can only guess how it might have originally been driven. Looks also like the wheels have been rebuilt at some stage, possibly recently.

Good luck with your search for more information.
