Last chance to enter the Veteran Car Run

Dear Participants and Friends of the Run

 

Entries close today for this year’s RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run and we are delighted to announce that we have over 350 entries.

A gentle reminder to purchase Additional Extras by Friday 23 September, to ensure they are included in your participant pack that will be sent out in early October. If you did not do this on registration, you can log into the entry area and select the extras. These include additional participant passes, Abels’ luggage transfers, tickets for the Veteran Car Concours lunch and extra tickets for the Participants’ Reception which are both on Saturday 5 November. Our 2022 Veteran Car Run Programme is now available for you to view online. Printed copies will be sent out inside participant packs that will be distributed at the start of October.

 

 

We can now welcome more Veteran Car Run participants and enthusiasts than before to the Veteran Car Concours lunch at the Royal Automobile Club on Saturday 5 November. You can book your tickets for this popular event during the entry process or, if you have already registered for the Run, via the Additional Extras option outlined above.

 

 

Abels Moving Services offer the perfect solution for your luggage if you’re staying overnight in London prior to the Run. Abels will collect luggage from a selection of London hotels and transfer it to your hotel in Brighton or available to collect on Madeira Drive. Luggage tags can be booked during the  entry process and pre-booking is essential. Please note, for security reasons items that have not been pre-booked will not be collected.

 

 

The Run requires around 400 volunteers to marshal the 60-mile route from London to Brighton. Many marshals are Motorsport UK registered and are members of various motoring clubs and organisations, but we gladly consider applications from other interested parties. RM Sotheby’s will once again be conducting its annual London sale in partnership with the Royal Automobile Club and the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Taking place on Saturday 5 November, and with a preview day on Friday 4 November, this year the sale will be held in the glorious surroundings of Marlborough House, close to the Club and in the heart of the Motor Week celebrations. As ever, the sale will feature a wide section of glorious motor cars and will attract the many of Europe’s top collectors.
