Liscard image dating

I believe the car shown on image one is a 'fake', the same car appears on this Frith postcard of Grayshott  , Hampshire, on this the registration A 8961 is just decernable, possibly a Panhard. The Frith serial number of this card is 64204 and dates from 1911, the bus is a Commer run by  Ben Chandler of the Royal Huts Hotel, Hindhead, Fortunately both shops and pub still survive but not the Commer bus !. Often postcard publishers added cars ,prams etc. to enhance the view but these were oftern well out of scale.
