A second barnfind form Paris this year! Right after the first world war there was a heavy tax on imported cars in France. The Model T presented here is one of a series that was imported into France as crated parts. There is little to distinguish the car from the original 'Dearborn' production. The orginal Michelin tyres which came with the new French production cars are long gone. One important detail remained with this practically untouched car: the optional speedo which is an OS (!) in this case (click the photo for dashboard view). Furthermore the car has been made apt to take transports by creating a fifth door in the rear. This was necessary in WW II in order to get gas coupons. All information provided by Belgium dealer Albert Valcke, who recently acquired the barnkept car and now is recommissioning it for the road after a 40 years sleep....
