Last Friday the Memorial Service for renowned author Bill Boddy (Telegraph.co.uk) took place. Mike Tebbett reports:" The church was crowded although not full. The priest was respectful, knowledgeable and well-informed. And Roger Collings gave a splendid and moving eulogy. Afterwards we all adjourned to the Radnorshire Arms to enjoy tea, sandwiches and WB's favourite chocolate cake. A good number of proper motor cars attended and the day was blessed with fine weather. Here is a view from outside St. Andrew's Church, with Lancia Lamda, Frazer Nash, Donnet, Singer Junior, Vauxhall 30/98 and an A7 chummy hiding behind it."

For those who want to learn and read more of Bill Boddy, there is ample choice of his work at Amazon.com and other sources.
