Mystery cyclecar chassis

Hi,  I am seeking assistance from your knowledgeable readers in an effort to identify a mystery light car or cyclecar chassis which I have owned for several years.  I believe that the chassis is of British origin based on the diameter of the tubular cross members (1.25" on rear one and the rest 1.5") and also the threads of the rear shackle bar (3/8 BSW) and the wing nuts  which are 3/8 brass.  The approximate dimensions are as follows:

Overall length 10' 3"

Wheelbase 7' 3.5"

Front width  22"

Rear width 29.5"

Depth of frame in centre 2.5"

Chassis no as stamped on offside front dumbiron casting is 17585.

Number cast into offside dumbiron casting 6153X1H?  - difficult to determine because of rust.

Number cast into nearside dumbiron casting 5153X2H1? - difficult to determine because of rust.

Rear shackles have the number 6616X2 cast in.

As can be seen the rear part of the chassis is reversed.  In case one thinks that it is a section from another chassis note the well executed nature of it .

Hopefully someone will be able to identify it.

Thanking you,

John Kent

Without any doubt this is a 1929 Singer Junior. The chassis number would place it circa May of that year
