This picture was taken probably in 1933-1934 in the port city of
Durres in Albania. The couple posing are my grandparents (Mr. Irakli Paparisto and his wife Veroniqi) who died in the 80s so no way I can ask them what they were driving that day. Nowadays that I have a passion for old vehicles - I own a Ford A 1928 and a Citroen Rosalie of 1932 - I would very much appreciate
any information on this vehicle that back in the time was rolling on the dirt roads of Albania. Any information would be highly appreciated by Josif Paparisto. (We do have a oldtimers club in Albania,
Retromobile Club Albania which I and a friend of mine started early
this year. We do have several members and are just in the phase
introducing the club in Albania.)

UPDATE IV:Incredible how much Fordologists can see in the not so sharp photo from Albania. Last notes which came in:"...a 1930 or early 1931 Murray 4 door Model A Ford. The door handles were also used on Murray A woodies, too." (Hugh Nutting) "The car is a 1930/31 Ford Model A Fordor 3.3ltr not the Deluxe model. It certainly is not before 1930 as the radiators are lower on those cars. the wheels are not disc wheels, they are spoked." (Toby Ballard) (editor agrees on non-disc wheels). "...1930 or 1931 Model A Ford. Without seeing the running board splash apron behind the people it can't be determined exactly. The shape of the windows indicates a Briggs bodied four door sedan." (Ray Barth) ...... topic closed!
UPDATE III: Francisaco Carrion, Marc Hendrix and Kit Foster all agree this is a Model A Ford year 1930-31. Kit ads:"The sole feature that could distinguish between the two years is hidden by the couple's legs. Ford wheels of many later years will bolt right onto Model A hubs."
UPDATE II by Detlef Kayser:"I'm rather sure that the car is not a Ford A as this never had disc wheels. Regarding the bonnet and the sun visor I would rather think of a french car as Citroen or Peugeot...."
UPDATE I by Tony Haycock:"Judging by the wheels, and the door handles, I would say the car is a Model A Ford. I am not sure what year, but I am sure there are Ford experts out there who can date it."
