(update: see below)We often tend to think that the once-in-a-lifetime car is to be found on the dark side of the moon. Or at least in remote areas on the other side of this world. In forgotten cities and closed down garages. Possible, but sometimes that hidden gem is much closer than one would think. Personally we overlooked this massive, impressive 7 seater 1932 Panhard many times. It was hidden between/behind several wrecks and never really struck the eye. Until the dealer AutomusA decided to bring into the open, in the bright white light of a newly painted hall. It's just an example. From rumour we know that within 2 minutes walking from our offices some 5 Bugatti's reside in a basement. Did we ever check? No. Did we ever check the hear-say about the two Silver Ghosts parked not far from there? No. Did we check the story about the unrestored SS Jag somebody in the north of Belgium is hiding behind a tightly bolted garage door? YeaSS! But that's another story for another day...
