Not invited to THE wedding? Then come to Oulton Park in Cheshire!

This Saturday, the 19th of May 2018 the Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC) organizes the Formula Vintage Round 2 at Oulton Park. So if you are not invited to the wedding of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle this would be a perfect alternative!

The day starts at 9:00 AM and will feature the Club’s historic Hawthorn Memorial Trophies, including the prestigious Trophy Races for Vintage, Pre-1961 and Pre-war Sports-Cars in honour of one of the great British Racing drivers. Besides this, the always popular scratch- and handicap formules will complete another exciting Pre-war programme.

Some say that Oulton Park Circuit one of the most technically challenging motor racing circuits in the United Kingdom is. We have never raced there ourselves so we do not know. Is there anyone who has raced their pre-war on this circuit, and would like to tell us more about this experience? Please comment below.

There is no doubt, the international field of pre-wars will show us some spectacle in the laps over a distance of 2.69 miles

Next, to all this race excitement, some guests are invited to drive their Historic Ferraris, F3 500s and also The Morgan Challenge will take place. Around 6:00 PM the day will, unfortunately, come to an end…
